ST ALBANS

Groups

Men's Group
We aim to provide fellowship and support to men trying to escape the pressures of our busy world! The group is drawn from regular churchgoers and others in the community who are attracted to the informal, easy-going approach. There are regular gatherings usually centred on evening suppers in hostelries in St Albans. New members of any age are always welcome to come along; no qualifications necessary, other than a sense of humour!
For further information please contact Fr Andrew.

Choir
The music at the Sung Eucharist service is led by a robed mixed choir of 20. We sing in four parts, both accompanied and unaccompanied. We provide more fully choral services on occasions such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Ascension Day and All Souls' Sunday. All members of the choir are fully involved in the life of the parish. The choir meets weekly for practice on Fridays, during ordinary term time from 7.30 pm until 9.00 pm. In addition there is a practice session just before the service. New members are always welcome.
For more information please contact the Choirmaster, Nicholas Hare.

The Friends of St Saviour's

The Friends exist to provide a link to those residents living within the parish of St Saviour's who are not regular members of the congregation and to keep in touch with former members of the parish who have moved away.
We are dedicated to providing financial and other help for the preservation and restoration of this fine Victorian church for future generations.
To join the Friends, please email Elizabeth Muhley.

Act of God

Act of God is St Saviour's theatre group, dedicated to putting on thought-provoking plays in untraditional places.
If you are interested in joining the troupe, in any capacity, please contact Imogen de la Bere.
